Abrams Will direct the next Star Trek
J.J. Abrams the guy behind Lost and Alias and director of Mission Impossible 3 is going to direct the next Star Trek movie. For months there has been countless speculation over who will direct with Abrams’ name cropping up only for another rumor to say that he won’t. Now sources have told The Hollywood Reporter Abrams has signed on to direct.
It is rumored that the film will revolve around a young James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock, chronicling their first meeting at Starfleet Academy and their first space mission, however this has not yet been confirmed.
