Ramayan 3392, the Science Fiction comic franchise is going to be turned into a massively multiplayer online game.
Sony Online Entertainment will develop and publish the game and Virgin Comics will serve as a creative consultant on the project. The game will be initially made for the PC.
Ramayan 3392 A.D. started in 2006 and reimagines one of India’s greatest epic myths as a futuristic story. The comic is based on a story by Deepak Chopra and Shekhar Kapur.

Hopefully SOE will handle the game better than they did with Star Wars Galaxies. I’m still a bit bitter at their treatment of players during the release of the NGE back in November 2005.
